- You read the chapter and it does not make sense. One clear explanation fixes it, and it stays fixed. This is the part ChatGPT is genuinely excellent at, and for a lot of students it is the only part they think they have to worry about.

- It made perfect sense on Tuesday and it is thin by the exam. No further explanation fixes this one, because nothing was wrong with the explanation. The only thing that works is meeting the same question again days and weeks later, before you have quite forgotten it.
